Vintage T-Shirt for $13,000

An interesting trend that has been ever increasing is the demand for vintage and used clothing. I’ve seen it become more popular over my years, with new online stores and local shops popping up all the time. An interesting website is Vintage Vantage. They create their own vintage styled t-shirts as well as sell used ‘premium’ shirts. Some of the vintage shirts go for a few hundred dollars, which in my opinion is a pretty expensive t-shirt. While browsing the shirts, I stumbled upon a shirt which they are selling for $13,000. The shirt is a Run DMC + Adidas theme. There aren’t many surviving hip-hop shirts from the 80’s, not to mention Adidas sponsored ones. $13,000 is obviously just a joke, unless you ARE a member of Run DMC and just think this is the greatest thing ever. I’m not sure why anybody would spend this, but I would enjoy a remake of this shirt for about $19.95.
